At Hacienda La Sierra, our coffee is all planted, farmed and harvested by hand. Guests have the opportunity to tour our farm and processing facility to learn all about the people and processes that go into a delicious cup of coffee. Guests can then take that knowledge and experience coffee cupping in our laboratory to taste the differences in processing, roasting and preparation can have on a coffee’s flavor profile.
We are fortunate to supply coffee to some of the best roasters in the world and know that the quality of our coffee is directly correlated to how well we tend our land. We are rainforest certified with a large percentage of our farm untouched jungle that provides shade for our coffee plants. Our eight natural springs are at the center of our ecosystem, with flora and fauna both contributing to the terroir that makes our coffee so special.
